he Center For American Studies would like to invite you to participate in a synchronous & certified weekend course with an attorney, arbitrator, and law professor from the United States titled “Client Interviewing & Witness Questioning for Lawyers”.
The course teaches critical skills necessary for all successful lawyers:
(1) the ability to interview, counsel, and support a client through their legal issue;
(2) and the ability to question both friendly and adverse witnesses (including expert witnesses).
The course will be experiential – you will learn by doing.
At the end of the course, you will be comfortable explaining various aspects of the attorney-client relationship, building rapport, determining client goals, and considering applicable law and options that may be available to the client, and questioning witnesses or expert witnesses in various types of legal proceedings.
While the course is conducted in English, thanks to the friendly atmosphere skills gained will be equally relevant to professional practice in your own native language.
